The amount leaves your available balance straight away so it cannot be spent twice, but the money stays with us until a reviewer releases it. If a payment is rejected, the amount returns to you in full.
Banks route on the account number alone — a wrong IBAN can reach the wrong person and is hard to recover. We check the IBAN’s own check digits as you type, which catches a mistyped or swapped character, but not an IBAN that is valid and belongs to someone else.
Scheduling a future date, saving a payment to confirm later, and recurring series are all planned and none are built. Nothing on this page silently stands in for them.
